Recently, the Medical Assistance Volunteer Service Team of Ningjin County People’s Hospital entered Shandong Laiyin Aijia Elevator Co., Ltd. and conducted an emergency knowledge training activity for company employees. During the training, medical staff provided a demonstration of cardiac resuscitation rescue operations for everyone, including determining whether there is loss of consciousness, determining whether there is spontaneous breathing, determining whether there is a pulse, determining effective indications for successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation, performing chest compressions, cleaning secretions from the oral and nasal cavities, opening the airway, and artificial respiration.
According to statistics, the popularization rate of emergency rescue skills in China is only about 2%, while in developed countries it is generally over 40%, with some reaching as high as 60%. In Japan, over 90% of middle school students have received first-aid knowledge popularization; According to US law, citizens must fully master basic first aid knowledge before the age of 18. The lack of emergency knowledge has also attracted increasing social attention. In recent years, the number of first aid knowledge and skills education and training provided by hospitals, schools, media and other platforms has greatly increased.

This training has further taught the company’s personnel the basic knowledge of first aid and familiarized them with the operation process and key points of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, improving the company’s employees’ emergency response ability.
Over the course of 27 years of development, Shandong Laiyin Aijia Elevator Co., Ltd. has continuously improved safety facilities, raised safety awareness, popularized various emergency knowledge and measures, and always placed safety at the forefront of development.
Emergency knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation
01 Quickly determine the person’s consciousness
We need to stand on the side of the injured person, pat them on the shoulder, and ask, “What’s wrong with you? What’s wrong with you?” to determine if the injured person is conscious.
02 Determine if there is heartbeat and breathing
Go to check if the injured person has a pulse and carotid artery pulsation to determine if they have a heartbeat and breathing. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on injured individuals who lose consciousness and have stopped heartbeat and breathing.
03 Timely call for help
Use various communication methods to call for help, and ask passersby to call 120 in a timely manner.
04 Press before artificial respiration
If you are rescuing someone alone, you should first press and then apply artificial respiration (for cardiac arrest) at the appropriate position and depth. Quickly untie the victim’s clothing and find the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples (at the lower one-third of the sternum), which is the point you want to press. Two palms overlap with each other, press on this point with the base of the palm, clasp your fingers tightly, keep your arms straight, and press with the force of the entire upper body at a frequency of 100-120 times per minute, which is 2 times per second, with a depth of 5-6cm. The chest should fully rebound after each compression. This can reduce your strength and prevent the victim’s sternum from being crushed. In order to improve the efficiency of pressing, the number of interruptions should be reduced. That is to say, if you want to start pressing, just press one group and do not stop in the middle. After every 30 chest compressions, perform 2 artificial breaths.
